Fiona Vening

Fiona Vening is an experienced compliance officer at Stichting Reclame Code since January 2013, focusing on responsible advertising and ensuring the credibility of marketing practices. Previously, Fiona held the role of project manager at Binoq Atana and served as head of legal and economic affairs, followed by a role as a lawyer at the Dutch Publishers Association from September 2003 to August 2010. Fiona also contributed to various non-profit organizations in the copyright sector as a board member and general secretary. Earlier in career, Fiona worked as a legal advisor for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and completed internships at Instituut voor Informatierecht and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Fiona began a professional journey as a theater employee at Nationale Opera & Ballet. Fiona holds a Master of Laws degree in Dutch Law from the University of Amsterdam, obtained in 2000.
