Simon Timmerman

Simon Timmerman is the owner of Powered by Simon Timmerman since January 2023, engaging in challenging assignments that leverage expertise. As a member of the Reclame Code Commissie and the initiator and organizer of the Utrecht Queer Culture Festival, Simon promotes diversity and the freedoms associated with sexuality and gender. Simon also serves as chair and board member at Stichting Roze Zaterdagen Nederland, and was honored as a Knight in the Order of Oranje-Nassau in April 2020. With a background in event management at COC Nederland and a role as an inclusion and diversity advisor at Movisie, Simon has extensive experience in fostering inclusivity in various settings. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
