Mariska Slagmeulen

Mariska Slagmeulen has extensive experience in social work and youth support. Currently serving as a member of the Ondernemingsraad and wijkcoach in youth expertise at Stichting Sociale Wijkteams Arnhem since November 2020, Mariska focuses on empowering residents in Arnhem to achieve self-sufficiency through collaborative problem-solving. Previously, from July 2002 to November 2020, Mariska worked as a Jeugdzorgwerker C at Stichting Ottho Gerhard Heldring en Ambulatorium, providing targeted interventions for children and adolescents with developmental challenges and behavioral disorders within a therapeutic framework. Mariska's career began as a leidster at Kinderopvang SKAR, where care and developmental support were provided to infants and toddlers from January 2000 to June 2002. Mariska holds a Bachelor of Social Work in Pedagogy from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) and a vocational qualification as a socio-pedagogical worker specializing in youth care from MBO SPW.
