Afke Blanksma

Afke Blanksma is an experienced professional in education, finance, and social entrepreneurship. Currently serving as an Economics teacher at ZAAM since September 2020, Afke has also co-founded Wizzymaps, focusing on enhancing visitor experiences at events, since January 2018. As the founder of Prosocial.nl, Afke guides social startup concepts to market with a strategic approach. Previously, Afke was a Program Director at Enactus Netherlands, overseeing a Social Start Up Accelerator and providing mentorship to student projects. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Marketing Communications Advisor and Team Leader for student recruitment at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with positions in policy advising, fundraising, communications consulting, and journalism. Afke holds a degree in General Economics Teaching from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and has pursued further studies in journalism and communication-related fields.
