Michiel Houniet

Michiel Houniet has an extensive background in education, currently serving as a Docent economie & wiskunde at ZAAM since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Docent economie at Tabor College Hoorn from August 2018 to July 2022, where contributions included developing the E&O program and chairing the Economics & Entrepreneurship department. Houniet also held a position at Voortgezet Onderwijs van Amsterdam as a Docent en onderwijsontwikkelaar for Vox classes, focusing on collaborative learning projects. Earlier roles included teaching economics at IJburg College and facilitating interdisciplinary projects, along with various teaching positions at Clusius College and Tabor College. Houniet has also worked in outdoor instruction and project coordination in health initiatives with AZ Alkmaar. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Professioneel meesterschap from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sport, Management, and Ondernemen from the same institution.
