Giulia Verga has worked in various roles since 2011. Giulia began their career as an Italian Teacher at Lingua IT - Istituto di lingua e cultura italiana in 2011. Giulia then moved on to Anglo American School, where they worked as a Back and Front Office Assistant and Italian teacher until 2012. In 2014, Giulia began working as a Freelance Italian Teacher. Giulia then worked at Unitec from 2015 to 2017 as a Language Training Manager, where they were responsible for translations from/to English and Spanish, and teaching English, Spanish, and Italian classes. Finally, Giulia worked at Sticker Mule from 2017 to the present as a Customer Support Trainer, where they are responsible for training Customer Support new hires, assessing CS reps' performance, and creating training materials.

Giulia Verga obtained a Bachelor in Classics from the Università degli Studi di Padova between 2004 and 2007. Giulia then completed a Master in Linguistics from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2007 and 2009, while also participating in an Erasmus programme at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela between 2008 and 2009. In 2009, they obtained a Diploma Superior in C2 from the Instituto Cervantes. In 2010, they completed a DITALS II in Didattica dell'italiano come L2 from the Università per stranieri di Siena. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English in C1 from the University of Cambridge. Finally, in 2015, they obtained a Zertifikat Deutsch in B2 from the Goethe Institut.
