Vanessa Chiang

Vanessa Chiang is a Senior Data Engineer at sticky.io since May 2021, previously serving as a Data Engineer at UnitedHealth Group from June 2017 to May 2021. At UnitedHealth Group, notable contributions included extracting and transforming data to analyze UnitedHealthcare members and conducting drug sequence analysis using R, as well as developing an end-to-end XGBoost machine learning model in Python. Vanessa also completed a year-long data science training program while working at UnitedHealth Group, and started as a Technology Development Intern in 2016, where gap analyses were conducted to minimize production outages. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Imperial College Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Systems Biology from UCLA.
