Thomas Raahauge Lund Nielsen

Thomas Raahauge Lund Nielsen is a Development Engineer at Stiesdal since April 2021, specializing in the development and design of floating offshore wind foundations, including roles in hydrodynamic modeling and mooring design. Previously, Thomas served as a Pipe System Design Engineer at National Oilwell Varco Denmark I/S, focusing on flexible pipes for the offshore industry. Earlier experience includes research assistant roles at DTU Wind Energy, where Thomas worked on numerical modeling and model testing of floating wind turbine foundations, and other positions ranging from teaching assistance to student support. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Wind Energy and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from DTU.
