Charles Hoare

Charles Hoare is an experienced investment banking professional with a focus on the healthcare sector. Since June 2016, Charles has served as Managing Director and Head of European Healthcare at Stifel Financial Corp. Additionally, Charles has been the Chairman of Bulldog Trust, a family foundation, since January 2008. Prior to joining Stifel, Charles held the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Healthcare at Commerzbank AG from January 2012 to June 2016, and was a Managing Director in the Global Healthcare Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 1999 to September 2011. Charles also served on the Finance & Planning Committee at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from November 2011 to November 2015 and worked as an Executive in European Healthcare at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell from July 1997 to June 1999. Charles holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, completed in 1997, and attended Eton College from 1989 to 1994.
