Christopher Vorwerk

Christopher Vorwerk, PhD, currently serves as the Managing Director of Stadtmuseum Berlin GmbH, overseeing operations for approximately 175 employees across six locations since August 2020. Vorwerk has held several key leadership positions, including Interim Managing Director at the Urban Nation Museum, where responsibilities included establishing operational and financial processes, and Head of Marketing and Communications at Staatsballett Berlin, leading all marketing and sales efforts. Earlier roles include Head of Fundraising at Konzerthaus Berlin, focusing on sponsorship and public funding, and serving as an Advisor for Arts Policies in the Deutscher Bundestag. Vorwerk holds a PhD in Theatre Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and has completed a Special Research Fellowship in Theater Management at Yale University, along with a Diplom in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practices from Stiftung Universität Hildesheim.
