Eric Beaver

Eric Beaver is a Business Unit Manager at STIHL USA, overseeing the Trimmer Line Plant since July 2021. Previously, Eric served as an Automation Engineer and held the position of Instructor of Mechatronics and Department Chair at Tidewater Community College from August 2016 to June 2021, teaching various engineering topics. Eric's experience also includes roles as Engineering Lab Supervisor and Adjunct Lecturer at Penn State University, where responsibilities included managing multiple engineering labs and instructing courses on networking and databases. Prior to this, Eric worked as an Independent Network Consultant and as a Network Engineer at Winbeam Inc., while also gaining early experience at DuPont as a Cooperative Education Student, focusing on control systems and mechanical prototypes. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, earned in 2002.
