Mike Weber

Mike Weber, SCP, has extensive work experience in the field of environment health and safety. Mike began their career at SUPERVALU in 2003 as an HR Generalist and later became the Risk Control Manager, where they managed safety and health programs for two distribution centers. Mike processed and managed IL Workers' Compensation claims, as well as developed and delivered OSHA training programs. In 2012, they joined STIHL USA as an HR Business Partner and later progressed to Manager of Occupational Health and Environmental Safety, Senior Manager of Environment Health Safety, and currently serves as the Director of Environment Health Safety. In their current role, they design, manages, and administers environmental health and occupational safety programs for a 2,400-person operation spanning six states. Mike analyzes industrial incidents and hazards, formulates safety policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Mike Weber, SCP has a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, Mike Weber also holds the certification of SHRM-SCP from SHRM.
