Alexandre Thorn

Alexandre Thorn is an experienced managing director with a proven track record in the outdoor power tools and lubricants industries. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Andreas STIHL since January 2012, Alexandre leads operations in France for a prominent outdoor power tools company. Prior to this role, Alexandre was the Managing Director for Techtronic Industries (TTI) from January 2007 to December 2011, overseeing brands such as AEG, Ryobi, and Milwaukee, and managing a team of over 150 employees across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain functions. Alexandre's career began at Royal Dutch Shell, where Alexandre held the position of Business Manager for Lubricants and served as Sales Manager for Consumer Lubricants at Societe des Petroles Shell. Alexandre holds an education from IMD and CentraleSupélec, earning a degree in 1990.
