VP of Building Automation at STIIIZY

Felix Alvarado has extensive experience in building automation and controls technology. Felix is currently serving as the VP of Building Automation at STIIIZY since November 2021. Prior to this, Felix worked at Trane Technologies for over 13 years, starting as a Senior Controls Technician in June 2008 and eventually leaving in November 2021. Before joining Trane Technologies, they were a Controls Technician at Siemens Building Technologies P Limited from January 2006 to January 2008. Felix began their career in the US Navy as a Gas Turbine Electrician / Mechanical, serving from September 1999 to September 2003.

Felix Alvarado began their education journey in 1999 and completed it in 2003 at the United States Navy. During this period, they pursued a degree in Gas Turbine Electrician / Mechanical. Additionally, Felix has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2014, they achieved the Tridium Niagara AX Certification from Lynxspring, Inc. In 2017, they obtained the Teaching Physical Computing with Raspberry Pi and Python certification from the Raspberry Pi Foundation through FutureLearn. In 2021, Felix received the Tridium Niagara N4 Certification Vykon from Cochrane Supply & Engineering. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the EPA Section 608 Certification Universal from the ESCO Institute.
