Gabriel Barreto

Gabriel Barreto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Gabriel is currently working as a DevSecOps Engineer at Stilingue since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Modeling and Optimization Software Developer from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they were involved in software development, support, and maintenance, utilizing technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, Flask, FastAPI, JavaScript, React, and C++. Gabriel also acted as a DevOps for repository migration.

Before ExxonMobil, Gabriel worked at True Work Consultoria E Desenvolvimento De Sistemas as a Software Developer from 2020 to 2021. And prior to that, they worked at C3SL - Centro de Computação Científica e Software Livre as a Software Developer. In this role, they supported and developed Linux Educacional LE 6, worked with Python and Shell Script, and was involved in requirements analysis, feature implementation, and internationalization for Linux Educacional.

Gabriel also has experience working as a Google Summer of Code 2019 Student for QEMU in 2019, and at Ecomp - Empresa Júnior de Informática da UFPR as a Full Stack Developer and Business Director from 2016 to 2018.

Gabriel Barreto earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Paraná, attending from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from Alura Cursos Online in December 2018, including a course on starting intelligent conversations using Watson chatbot, advancing and integrating the bot, introduction to Python Pandas for Data Science, advancing with different types of classification in Machine Learning II, introduction to classification in Machine Learning, beginner level Artificial Intelligence, beginner level Artificial Intelligence (second course), introduction to classification with SKLearn in Machine Learning, and introduction to recommendation systems in Machine Learning.
