Jane-Roberte Sampeur is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Still Jane-Roberte Rises, Tulsa, a pioneering organization focused on holistic defense for mothers in legal systems. Sampeur's extensive experience includes roles as Senior Attorney and Project Coordinator for the Women's Pretrial Release Initiative and various positions within the Brooklyn Criminal Defense Practice and Parole Revocation Defense Unit at The Legal Aid Society of NYC. Additionally, Sampeur directed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Cardozo School of Law and gained early legal experience as a law clerk in the City of Hartford's Office of Corporation Counsel and other legal roles. Academic achievements include a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut.
