Peter Lee

Peter Lee has extensive work experience in the life sciences industry, with a focus on sales and general management roles. Peter is currently the VP/General Manager of the APACJ region at Stilla Technologies, where they oversee the detection and quantification of nucleic acids in various applications. Prior to this, Peter worked at Abcam as the ROW & JP General Manager, responsible for global channel management, including expanding operations in Japan. Peter also held various roles at Abcam HK Ltd, such as Rest of World & Japan General Manager and Asia Pacific GM, where they successfully set up sales channels in the Asia Pacific region, particularly in China. Before joining Abcam, Peter served as the China General Manager at Biacore, leading the company's expansion in Shanghai. Peter began their career in the life sciences industry with Amersham in 1995, later transitioning to GE Healthcare after several company mergers. Overall, Peter has a strong background in sales and general management, with a particular expertise in the life sciences market in China and the Asia Pacific region.

Peter Lee has a diverse education background with degrees in various fields. Peter began their education at Hong Kong Baptist University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from 1988 to 1991. Afterward, they pursued higher education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they completed a Master's degree in Biochemistry from 1991 to 1993. Later, they attended Strathclyde University, where they obtained an MBA degree between 2001 and 2003. Finally, in 2005 and 2006, they attended China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) to complete a Management Development Programme focused on Marketing/Marketing Management.
