Leslie Friedel

Leslie Friedel has a diverse and extensive work experience. Leslie started working at IUPUI in 2013 as a Field Liaison and continued in this role until 2018. In 2007, they joined Lutheran Life Villages as the Director of Social Services and later became an Administrator. From 2015 to 2018, Leslie served as the VP of Research and Service Development at Lutheran Life Villages. Most recently, in 2018, they became the CEO of Stillwater Hospice.

Leslie Friedel holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Indiana University South Bend, specializing in Social Work and Mental Health. This degree was obtained between the years 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Leslie Friedel has a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of Saint Francis, earned from 2001 to 2004. Leslie Friedel has also obtained several certifications including "Dare to Lead" from Dare to Lead™ Trained in September 2021, a Health Facility Administrator certification from the State of Indiana, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Purdue University. Leslie Friedel is also a licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Indiana.
