He is also an African Development Educator (ADE), a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE), and an Advanced CIFE both in Accounting and Financial Analysis. Hassan has over 20 years of work experience, 15 of which have been in senior management. He has expertise in corporate & strategy, customer orientation, and commercial awareness as well as communication, research, advocacy, and networking. Hassan is a certified Sacco development educator.

Stima Sacco was established in 1974 to serve employees of the then East African Power & Lighting Company. However, it currently draws members from individuals in employment from all sectors, business persons, groups and corporations. The objective was and has been to provide members with a safe haven for savings, access fairly priced credit and make a good return on investment. The Sacco has grown to become a leading financial partner in Kenya with a huge asset base, massive membership, dynamic products and impressive dividends.
