CPA Joash Yongo has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Sales Representative at Wasp Africa, where they were responsible for researching prospective clients, contacting clients to sell products, sourcing new leads, and giving presentations.

In the same year, they also interned at Kenya Airways in the Finance Department, where they handled tasks such as writing and processing cheques, updating inflow and outflow statements, and managing payment vouchers.

Moving forward to 2014, Joash joined Sterling Capital Ltd as an Accountant. Their responsibilities included preparing daily reports, bank reconciliations, client and supplier payments, and monthly management accounts. CPA JOASH was also part of the team preparing for the introduction of Derivatives into the Kenyan Securities Market, overseeing risk and margin for trading clients.

In 2017, Joash joined Stima Sacco Society Ltd as an Accountant at the Head Office, where they focused on tasks such as reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts, bank reconciliations, preparing monthly reports, and providing variance analysis. CPA JOASH later took on the role of Operations Assistant at the Nakuru Branch, where they managed branch finances, prepared budgets and financial reports, processed salaries and payments, and addressed customer queries.

Throughout their various roles, Joash ensured accurate and timely financial reporting, maintained financial books and records, and followed accounting policies and frameworks.

CPA Joash Yongo completed their education in a chronological order. CPA JOASH started their academic journey in 2009 and graduated in 2012 from St. Paul's University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Finance. Following this, they attended Strathmore University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Certified Public Accountant-Sec 5 (CPA-Sec 5) degree in Accounting. In 2016, they also obtained the International Introduction to Securities & Investment certification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).

In 2017, Joash Yongo enrolled at Adept College of Accountancy and completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) program in Accounting in 2018. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from kasneb.

Looking ahead, Joash Yongo plans to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance and Investment at KCA University from 2022 to 2024. Furthermore, in 2022, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Minitab.
