Nathan Speekenbrink is an experienced privacy and information security advisor with a focus on compliance and creating a positive work environment. Since August 2018, Nathan has held the position of Adviseur Privacy en Informatiebeveiliging at PrivacyHero and has taken on various roles including Privacy Officer a.i. at Probiblio and security responsibilities at multiple libraries. Currently, Nathan contributes as an Adviseur Privacy en Informatiebeveiliging for KopGroep Bibliotheken and other organizations, providing training, policy advice, and leading initiatives such as "Operatie Zandzakken" to enhance information security. Nathan also serves as the chair of the nationwide working group on Privacy & Information Security for Public Libraries, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the sector.
