Espen Børrud

Espen Børrud has been in the IT industry since 1998. Espen began their career as a System Architect at Storebrand, followed by a role as an Integration Consultant at Bouvet in 2005. From 2006 to 2013, Børrud held the position of Enterprise Architect at Storebrand Livsforsikring, with particular responsibility for the solutions supporting the "Commercial corporate market" business unit. In 2013, they began to work as a Software Manager at Picasoft AS and CIO / Software Manager at Stingray Marine Solutions AS, where they developed the next generation, sustainable and environmentally safe way of controlling lice in pens for the fish farming industry.

Espen Børrud obtained their Fenrik degree from Befalsutdanning BSHSB in the Norwegian Army between 1993 and 1995. Espen then attended Oslo and Akershus University College, where they earned their Bachelor degree in Software Engineering between 1995 and 1998. During the same period, they also completed their Dataingenør degree at Oslo College of Engineering in Information Technology. In 2002, they obtained their MSc degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Sunderland.
