Omid Parsa has a range of work experience in software development and teaching. From January 2021 onwards, they have been working as a Software Developer at Stingray Marine Solutions AS. Prior to this, from February to June 2020, they worked as a Frontend Developer at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, also serving as a Web Design Teacher during the same period.
From January 2016 to July 2019, Omid worked as a Front-end Developer at Ertebat Hooshmand, where they focused on User Interface design and designing Web Services and APIs.
Their earliest work experience dates back to September 2006, when they joined the Department of Education in Iran as a UI Designer and Computer Science Teacher. In this role, they taught various computer science courses, including programming languages and computer concepts, at a vocational high school called Ahmadi Roshan High School until May 2019.
Omid Parsa completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2004, they attended Shahid Paknejad Teacher Training and obtained an Associate's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor, which they completed in 2006. Following their associate's degree, Omid pursued further studies and enrolled at the University of Applied Science and Technology from 2010 to 2013. During this period, they received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering. Lastly, from 2019 to 2021, Omid pursued a Master's degree in Applied Computer and Information Technology (ACIT) with a specialization in Universal Design of ICT at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University.
