Hilde de Clercq

Hilde De Clercq is an Oriental percussionist, pianist, and singer currently involved in various projects such as Sudan Sebepler, Tulp Vertelt, Turkey Tweets, and more. Hilde has also worked as a content manager for Türk Müziği/Türk Slow/Türk Sanat Müziği at Stingray Digital/Music Choice. Additionally, Hilde has been teaching darbuka to adults and children at De Centrale since September 1996. Prior to that, Hilde worked as a percussionist, singer, and actress with various companies and artists from 1990 to 2002. Hilde De Clercq holds an Engineer's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Ghent University and has studied music with different teachers in Belgium and abroad.
