Luuk Verhoeven

Luuk Verhoeven has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2016, they worked as an intern in strategic and creative consulting at Deloitte Digital. The following year, they joined ING as a graduate intern at the Chief Innovation Office. Luuk later became a product manager and designer for a RegTech startup at ING, where they collaborated with IT experts, designers, and banking professionals to develop digital products. Alongside this role, Luuk also worked as a freelance service design lead at ING's PACE Accelerator. In 2018, Luuk co-founded NextGenners, followed by co-founding SparQ in 2017, where they held the position of co-founder and product manager until 2022. Additionally, in 2015, they served as a security officer at Workrate, ensuring building safety. Luuk is also a co-founder and CEO of Stippl since 2020. In the same year, they co-founded canitravelto.country, focusing on providing information about Covid-19 restrictions for travelers. Luuk Verhoeven's education history begins with their high school education at Sint-Janslyceum, where they pursued a curriculum in Gymnasium, Natuur & Techniek, and Economie from 2004 to 2010. Luuk then went on to attend Delft University of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. During their time at Delft University, they also obtained a Cambridge Advanced English Course from English Language Company in 2014-2015 to achieve a Cambridge C2 level in English proficiency. Subsequently, Luuk pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology, which they completed from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Cambridge Advanced English with a score of 86% from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2014.
