Stirling Ultracold
Cory Gilbert is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in production and process engineering. Currently serving as Production Engineering Manager and formerly as Process Engineering Manager and Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Stirling Ultracold since April 2017, Cory has successfully led quality improvement projects, managed manufacturing process changes, and supported production value streams, including overseeing the transition of a flagship product to a contract manufacturer. Prior experience includes working as an Applications Design Engineer at Electrocraft, where responsibilities involved design, development, validation, and implementation of BLDC product lines, as well as collaborating with customers to meet their specifications. Earlier positions included Design Engineering Co-op at ElectroCraft Ohio Inc and a Research Assistant role at Ohio University. Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University, completed in 2013.
Stirling Ultracold
Stirling Ultracold, a division of Global Cooling, Inc., is a developer and manufacturer of a new generation of environmentally friendly ultra-low temperature freezers which operate below -86°C. These freezers do not use dry ice, Peltier or conventional cascade refrigeration systems. Instead, the Stirling Ultracold product line operates onfree-piston Stirling engine technology.
