Gilles Sevestre

CTO cofounder at STIRWELD

Gilles Sevestre has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as an Ingénieur Méthode at Yves Rocher. In 2014, they joined École Normale Supérieure de Rennes as an Ingénieur de recherche, where they worked on a research project related to Friction Stir Welding (FSW) and successfully patented an FSW welding head. In 2016, they co-founded STIRWELD and assumed the role of CTO, focusing on entrepreneurship and developing a range of standard welding tools for industries. This position continued until September 2017.

Gilles Sevestre obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Rennes from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they also pursued their studies at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2010 to 2011, where they received another Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering.
