Matthias Lipp has extensive work experience in the legal field. Matthias started their career as a Law Clerk at the District Court and later worked as a Law Clerk at the Regional Court. Matthias then joined SCWP Schindhelm as an Associate and worked on drafting contracts, conducting due diligence reviews, and providing legal opinions. Matthias also worked as a Senior Associate at Greindl & Köck Rechtsanwälte, where they advised on company restructuring. After that, they became a Sole Practitioner Attorney At Law before joining SCWP Schindhelm again as an Attorney At Law (Senior Manager), specializing in cross-border M&A transactions. Currently, they are the Chief Legal Officer at STIWA Group, where they lead an international legal department and is responsible for implementing legal strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Matthias Lipp began their education in 1993 at the Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt Linz, HTBLA 2 - LiTec Linzer Technikum, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matthias completed their studies in 1998. Afterward, from 2000 to 2006, Lipp attended Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, where they focused on international law within the law school curriculum and obtained a Magister iuris degree.
In addition to their formal education, Matthias Lipp obtained certifications to enhance their skills and qualifications. In 2010, they completed the Writing and Drafting Masterclass training program at Euromoney Legal Training in London, England. Furthermore, in the same year, Lipp obtained the International Legal English Certificate (C1 pass with merit) from the University of Cambridge.
