Dr. Edelgard Vacek

Dr. Edelgard Vacek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Edelgard is currently the Head of Personnel / Organizational Development & Education at Sto SE & Co. KGaA since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head Of Corporate Communications and later as the Head of Organizational Development at Roto Window and Door Technology from January 2015 to February 2021.

Before joining Roto Window and Door Technology, they worked as a Partner at magility GmbH & Co. KG from November 2013 to January 2015. Dr. Vacek also has experience as a Communication Specialist at Science, where they focused on changes in the economic world and language actions, modeling new ways of decision making, and leadership skills in interdisciplinary networks. Dr. Edelgard'scontributions in this role include "Agile Kommunikation in Veränderungsprozessen" published in Handbuch Wirtschaftskommunikation.

Prior to their roles in Science, they served as a Senior Consultant at MBtech Consulting GmbH from March 2007 to October 2013. Dr. Edelgard began their career as a PhD candidate / Doktorandin at Daimler from 2003 to 2006.

Dr. Edelgard Vacek completed their Staatsexamen degree from the University of Stuttgart in the period between 1998 and 2003. During this time, their field of study included Communication Studies, Applied Linguistics, French, and German Literature. Dr. Edelgard then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the Universität Siegen, which they completed between 2003 and 2008. Dr. Edelgard'sPh.D. research focused on Communication in Organizations, Implementation of Lean Management, Change Communication & Management.
