Tien Nguyen

Tien Nguyen has worked in the aerospace industry since 2014. In that time, they have held positions at Beechcraft, Cessna Aircraft Company, National Institute for Aviation Research, Textron Aviation, Field Aerospace, Stock Navigators, and Boeing Defense, Space & Security. At Beechcraft, they served as a Pistons Group/ RDE Intern, at Cessna Aircraft Company they served as a Product Improvement Team (PIT)/ Sustaining Engineering Intern, at National Institute for Aviation Research they served as a CAD/CAM Student Assistant, at Textron Aviation they served as a Stress Engineer II and Airframe Design Engineer, at Field Aerospace they served as a Stress Analyst, at Stock Navigators they served as a Product Team, and at Boeing Defense, Space & Security they are currently serving as a Structural Analyst 3.

Tien Nguyen has a diverse education history. Tien obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology between 2005 and 2009. Tien then attended Butler Community College between 2012 and 2014, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Tien continued their studies at Wichita State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with a minor in Mathematics) between 2014 and 2017, and a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Engineering - Structures and Solid Mechanics between 2018 and 2021. Additionally, they hold a certification in CATIA V5 from the CAD/CAM Laboratory, National Institute for Aviation Research.
