Sanjit Roy

Sanjit Roy has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sanjit is currently working as a Creative Lead at StockGro since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at upGrad from August 2020 to November 2021 as a Social Media - Copy and Content, responsible for conceptualizing and writing social media copy and collaborating with design teams.

Before upGrad, Sanjit worked at Licious - Born to meat as a Senior CopyButcher - Marketing from April 2019 to August 2020. Sanjit was responsible for marketing copywriting for the company.

Sanjit also worked as an Assistant Manager Copy at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) from January 2017 to April 2019, where they generated campaign ideas and coordinated with internal teams for smooth workflow in the central marketing team.

Sanjit has experience as a Sr. Copywriter at TO THE NEW, where they developed communication for brand's social media pages and worked on 360-degree digital campaigns from August 2016 to December 2016.

Prior to that, they worked as a Copywriter at MRM//McCann from September 2014 to August 2016, handling copy and creative solutions for various platforms. Sanjit also worked as a Jr. Copywriter at Seventy Seven Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. from August 2013 to September 2014.

Before venturing into the advertising industry, Sanjit ran their own business as an Entrepreneur, Designer, Photographer, and Badge maker at Flyin Saucer Inc. from May 2010 to May 2013. Sanjit designed and crafted customised button badges and dabbled in photography during this time.

Their career started with an internship at Ogilvy & Mather, where they created social media content for alcohol brands as a Copy & Content intern. Sanjit also had an internship at Asian Sound Radio Ltd. in 2011.

Sanjit Roy has a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Mumbai. Sanjit also holds a Diploma from MAAC in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rizvi College of Engineering.
