Lynsi Burton is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Officer at the Stockholm Environment Institute since July 2021, Lynsi focuses on editing research and policy publications, coordinating publicity, and crafting web content. Previously, as Communications Manager for The Seattle Public Library Foundation, Lynsi developed institutional messaging strategies and coordinated various donor-related events and publications. Lynsi's journalism background includes roles as a News Reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, where breaking news and criminal justice topics were covered, along with freelance writing for YES! Magazine and Seattle Business magazine. Lynsi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington State University and has completed studies at Sciences Po Bordeaux.
