Taylor Binnington

Taylor Binnington is an experienced scientist specializing in energy modeling and greenhouse gas mitigation. Currently employed at the Stockholm Environment Institute since February 2021, Taylor contributes to the Energy Modeling Program, assisting global modelers with the deployment of energy system models and development of low-emission strategies. Prior roles include Senior Policy Analyst at Acadia Center and Staff Scientist at Stockholm Environment Institute, with experience extending back to consulting on wind resource assessment and internships focused on renewable energy initiatives. Taylor holds an M.Sc. in Geography from the University of Toronto and another M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Guelph, complemented by a B.Sc. (Hons) in Theoretical Physics from the same institution.
