Simon Teklay Habte

Simon Teklay Habte has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Simon started their career in 2003 as a Mechanical Engineer at As.Be.Co. Asphalt & Betton Company, where they were responsible for calculating rental rates, managing maintenance schedules for heavy machinery, and improving maintenance efficiency. Simon then moved on to As.Be.Co. Asphalt & Betton Co., where they served as a Procurement Section Head, managing purchase operations and negotiating agreements with vendors.

In 2016, Simon joined ManpowerGroup as an Assistant Maintenance Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Store Technician. During their time at ManpowerGroup, they also worked as an Asset Management Consultant at Midroc and Granitor Aenigma, where they provided asset management consultancy services.

Currently, Simon is working as a Maintenance Engineer/Beredare at Stockholm Exergi. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in maintenance, procurement, asset management, and consultancy throughout their career.

Simon Teklay Habte has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Asmara, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Simon also attended Stockholm University from 2015 to 2016, focusing on a field of study called Korta Vägen, but did not obtain a degree. In terms of additional certifications, they completed various courses related to IoT and Maximo Asset Management, offered by IBM, in 2019. Simon also obtained the Project 2021 and Project Online Desktop Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in 2022.
