Caroline Falconer

Caroline Falconer has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Caroline is currently serving as the Secretary General at the SCC Arbitration Institute since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Deputy Secretary General at the same company from May 2022 to January 2023. Caroline also holds the position of Head of Business Area SCC Arbitration Institute at Stockholms Handelskammare since January 2023. In addition, they are a Board Member at Institutet Mot Mutor (The Swedish Anti-Corruption Institute) from April 2023 and at Commitment Search AB from April 2021. Caroline previously worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Vattenfall, supporting various departments and business areas from October 2015 to April 2022. Before that, they were an Advokat/Senior Associate at Kastell Advokatbyrå AB specializing in public procurement and commercial disputes from September 2012 to September 2015. Caroline also worked as a Senior Associate at Setterwalls Advokatbyrå from August 2007 to September 2012, focusing on EU and competition law, dispute resolution, and anti-corruption. Caroline has prior experience as a Staff Counsel at EKN, where they worked on issues related to contracts, public procurement law, and compliance. Caroline began their career as a Junior Judge/Tingsnotarie at the District Court of Stockholm from August 2004 to April 2007.

Caroline Falconer pursued their higher education by enrolling at Stockholm University in 1999. Caroline embarked on a five-year journey at the university, ending in 2004, where they successfully obtained their LLM degree in Law. Subsequently, Caroline Falconer decided to further enhance their legal knowledge and attended King's College London in 2005. Caroline'sLLM studies at King's College London lasted for a year, and they completed their degree in Law the following year, in 2006.
