Erik Wassberg

Erik Wassberg currently serves as the Hospital Director at Stockholms Sjukhem, a facility specializing in geriatric care and rehabilitation, since September 2023. Prior to this role, Wassberg held several executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer at VAMED and Reem Hospital from December 2021 to April 2023. Wassberg also served as CEO at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman and has extensive experience as a consultant in cardiothoracic surgery across multiple institutions, including Akademiska sjukhuset and Oslo Heart Center. Wassberg holds an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics and has earned both an MD and PhD from Uppsala University, alongside specialization in cardiothoracic surgery.
