Mia Ranta-Aho

Mia Ranta-aho is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Tokmanni since May 2023, focusing on sustainability reporting and responsible supply chains. Previously, Mia held the Head of Sustainability position at YIT from February 2018 to May 2023, where sustainability projects were managed with specific targets and KPIs. Earlier roles include VP of Corporate Responsibility at Lemminkäinen, managing an international team, and Key Account Manager for Global Corporates at Save the Children. Mia's extensive background also encompasses senior management positions at Microsoft and Nokia, overseeing global sustainability insights, environmental management, and strategic initiatives. Early career experience includes working as a Research Scientist at VTT, with a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
