Fabian Grapengiesser has extensive work experience in the finance and technology industry. Fabian is currently the CEO and co-founder of StockRepublic, a social network for investors that provides real-time benchmarking, guidance, and inspiration for investing. Prior to this, they founded and served as CEO of Shareville, the largest social trading platform for stocks and funds in Scandinavia. Shareville allowed users to trade and share information in a unique way and had a significant user base with over 200,000 public portfolios holding more than 50 billion SEK. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Grapengiesser worked at SEB, where they held various roles such as Head of Mobile Banking, Head of Business Development for Internet Banking, and Business Developer for Internet Banking. During their time at SEB, they focused on customer recruitment and online sales strategies, as well as managing projects and teams. Grapengiesser's career spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in financial technology and driving innovation in the banking industry.
Fabian Grapengiesser obtained their Juristexamen (jur.mag.) degree in Law from Stockholm University, where they studied from 1990 to 1997. Fabian also pursued studies in Psychology at Stockholm University from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they studied Ekonomi (Economics) at Stockholm University from 1991 to 1993.
