Matthew Rudd

Matthew Rudd has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Matthew began their career in 1990 at Hambros Australia Ltd as a Supervisor in Fixed Income and Money Market Operations in Sydney. In 1998, they moved to London to join Morgan Stanley's Customer Service Group in the Fixed Income department for 6 months before transferring to the Equities CSG Group for 12 months. In 2000, they joined UBS AG, Australia Branch as Regional Head of Fixed Income Securities Operations for APAC, managing teams across Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney. Matthew was also in charge of the satellite locations of Taiwan and Korea. In 2008, they were appointed Business Manager of Group Operations Aust/NZ and Head of Clearing & Settlement for Australia/New Zealand. In 2014, they were promoted to Director of Wealth Management Operations, with responsibilities including senior face off to WM Business and other logistics functions, as well as leading projects for regulatory change and process improvement. From 2017 to 2021, they were Head of Operations at Stockspot before joining Barrenjoey as Founding Principal and Head of Settlements in 2021.

Matthew Rudd attended Gilroy College, but did not pursue a degree or field of study.
