Andrey Ivankin has extensive experience in the field of science and technology. Andrey began their career in 2005 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied structure-function relationships in natural peptides and peptidomimeticts with antimicrobial activity. In 2010, they became a Senior Research Associate at the same institution, where they explored the mechanisms of cell invasion by the HIV virus. In 2012, they moved to Northeastern University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they explored the potential of nanopore technology for high-throughput screening of epigenetic and sequence modifications of chromatin. In 2014, they took on the role of an Independent Developer at Weber Shandwick, where they led the ideation, design, and development of interactive, story-telling dashboards. In 2015, they joined the International Institute for Nanotechnology at Northwestern University as an R&D Engineer. In 2016, they became Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of TERA-print LLC, where they built transformative nanofabrication tools. In 2021, they became Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Stoicheia, Inc., where they are leading a team of passionate scientists, engineers, and data and machine learning experts.
Andrey Ivankin received a BS in Chemical Physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 2000 and 2005. Andrey then went on to pursue a PhD in Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2010.
