Jonathan Ong

Jonathan Ong is an experienced professional in chemical engineering with a strong background in research and development. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Mattiq since May 2023, Jonathan previously held the role of R&D Engineer at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc., where optimization of energetic nanomaterials for solid propellant applications was a key focus. Earlier experience includes significant contributions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at McGill University, participating in projects under the Ghoshal Lab and Dorval Lab, as well as an internship at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc., where work on vacuum freeze-drying systems for nanoparticle fuel additives took place. Jonathan's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, complemented by a brief period of education at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a high school diploma from Manheim Township High School.
