Chris Bloor currently serves as the MathsHub Working Group Lead at MathsHub, where responsibilities include leading a cross-phase project aimed at enhancing outcomes for low attaining students transitioning between secondary education and further education. Chris has been a Teacher of Mathematics and Mastery Specialist at Stoke on Trent College since July 2016, focusing on enabling students at various levels to progress. Previous roles include teaching mathematics at Oxford Education Online, serving as an Associate Teacher during a PGCE program at City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, and working as a Research Administrator at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. Chris's diverse early career includes positions as a Store Assistant at Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust, a Voluntary Teaching Assistant, and a Customer Assistant at Tesco PLC. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Music Technology from Staffordshire University and has completed A Levels in Maths, English Language/Literature, Media Studies, and Music Technology.
