Laura Seskevich has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Laura began their career at Walt Disney World as a Private Dining Coordinator, where they managed daily banking transfers and provided customer service to private dining guests. Laura then worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Hospitality Coordinator, coordinating food and beverage needs for performing groups and ensuring budgetary compliance.
Laura then joined Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, starting as a Manager In Training and eventually working their way up to the role of Conference Services Manager. In this position, they were responsible for the overall execution of corporate meetings and banquet functions, serving as the main contact for clients from contract execution to event production. Laura also held the role of Private Dining Department Head, managing day-to-day activities and long-term planning for Room Service and Mini Bar departments.
After their time at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Laura moved on to Colwen Hotels, where they served as a Sales and Catering Manager and later as a Director of Sales. In these roles, they generated new catering business leads, generated revenue through prospecting and cold calling, and conducted site tours for prospective clients. Laura also played a key role in the opening of several hotels in the Boston area.
Most recently, Laura worked at THE CLANCY GROUP CORPORATION as the Director of Business Development and Brand Management, where they conducted extensive research on competitors and potential clients, developed new business relationships, and handled contract negotiations and management. Laura also served as a Project Manager, overseeing special projects and maintaining e-commerce portals.
Laura's current position is as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Regulatory Officer & SVP Quality at Stoke Therapeutics.
Laura Seskevich attended the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
