Surya Lamichhane, MS, Ph.D., has a strong background in pharmaceutical development and formulation optimization. They have held various roles in different companies, starting with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in 2018 as a Sr Scientist, focusing on the formulation development of lipid-based delivery systems. Surya Lamichhane, MS, Ph.D. completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Purbanchal University from 2005 to 2010. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued an MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Bedfordshire. Surya then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics, Nanomedicine, and Oncology from The University of Freiburg from 2012 to 2016.

In 2016, Surya Lamichhane was a Visiting Research Scholar at Harvard Medical School. Surya then served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design at the University of Mississippi from 2017 to 2018.
