Joshua James has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joshua began their career with various part-time positions, including roles as a cashier, 3rd party mover, assembly technician, and custodian. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Taylor University, where they worked as a student and served as both an advanced audio technician and media services technician. During this time, they also had internships at Direct Image Studio.
In 2014, Joshua James joined The Contemporary Music Center as a student, where they gained experience in the music industry, including mixing and recording, live shows, and working with artists. Joshua then worked at Starbucks as a barista from July 2015 to January 2016.
Joshua James further developed their coffee-making skills at Just Love Coffee Roasters, where they worked as a barista and front of house manager. Joshua then joined OCD Laboratories LLC as a technician from October 2016 to August 2018. In 2018, they also started working at CUR Solutions as a remote engineer from August to December.
Since 2018, Joshua James has been associated with Stone Creek Coffee Roasters. Joshua initially worked as a cafe coach and then transitioned to the role of tech service manager from December 2019 to June 2020. Joshua later became the director of tech from June 2020 to February 2023. Currently, they are serving as the director of coffee culture in the same company.
Joshua James earned a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production from Taylor University, where they attended from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they also completed a program in Audio Production at the Contemporary Music Center Nashville. Prior to university, Joshua attended William Fremd Highschool from 2007 to 2011.
