Joshua Siegel

Joshua Siegel is the Chairman & CEO of StoneCastle. Joshua has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Siegel began their career at Salomon Brothers Inc in 1996 as an Associate in the Tax and Lease group financing equipment, intellectual property, and cross-border tax finance. In 1997, they co-founded the CLO/Global Portfolio Solutions Group and served as Vice President and head of new product development until 2003 when they left to start Finally Holdings/StoneCastle Partners, LLC. Today, that business unit remains consistently in the top three CLO underwriters.

In 2010, Siegel joined Columbia Business School as an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Economics where they taught for two years. Joshua returned to the financial industry in 2013 when they became the Chairman & CEO of StoneCastle Financial Corp, a NASDAQ Ticker "BANX" closed end investment company focused on the banking sector. Joshua has been with StoneCastle since 2013 and currently serves as Chairman & CEO.

Joshua Siegel completed their undergraduate studies at Tulane University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in finance and accounting. Joshua also holds a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University in accounting and finance. In addition, Joshua Siegel is a certified member of Mensa International Ltd. and the Young Presidents Organization.
