David McDowall

David McDowall is the Chief Executive Officer at Stonegate Group since January 2023, leading the largest pub company in the UK with a diverse portfolio of over 4,500 pubs, bars, and venues. McDowall serves on the advisory board for WiHTL & Diversity in Retail and is a board member of UKHospitality. Prior to these roles, McDowall was the Non-Executive Chair at NQ64 Arcade Bars LTD and held multiple senior positions at BrewDog from December 2014 to January 2023, including COO & President, Group COO, and CEO of the retail division, playing a key role in significant expansion and growth in the craft beer sector. Earlier in the career, McDowall served as Group Operations Director at G1 Group, responsible for managing a diverse range of venues.
