Ana Popa

Ana Popa is an accomplished pianist and dedicated educator with significant experience in various artistic and academic roles. As Artistic Director of Stonehill Trio since 2016, Ana has successfully founded a classical piano trio, focusing on promoting contemporary music and women creators. In addition, Ana co-directs Trio Con Anima, fostering cultural understanding through diverse musical repertoires. At Stonehill College and The Rivers School, Ana serves as a Faculty Fellow for Music, teaching piano and developing innovative music history courses, including one focused on female composers. Ana's extensive teaching career includes positions at multiple institutions, contributing to music instruction and curriculum development, particularly in the area of theory. Ana holds multiple degrees in Music Performance from esteemed institutions, including a Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University.
