Avi Singh

Avi Singh has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Avi started their career in 2005 at Holman Insurance Brokers as an Insurance Broker. Avi then joined Cornerstone Insurance Brokers in 2009 as an Insurance Broker, specializing in commercial lines. In 2013, Avi joined Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers as an Associate Broker & Commercial Consultant. During their time there, they provided expertise in commercial insurance and consulting services. In the same year, they also became an Instructor at the Insurance Institute of Canada, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students. Avi transitioned to StoneRidge Insurance Brokers in 2016, initially as a Commercial Sales representative and later as a VP Commercial Lines, Sales. In this role, they provided leadership and strategic direction to the commercial sales team and was involved in strategic planning and monitoring sales processes. In 2019, Avi was promoted to the role of VP Branch Manager at StoneRidge Insurance Brokers. As VP Branch Manager, they oversee the operations of the branch.

Avi Singh's education history includes multiple degrees and certificates obtained over several years. From 1997 to 2000, Avi attended the University of Toronto, where they studied US History & Economics. In 2010, Avi enrolled in the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario and completed the CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) program, specializing in Insurance. During the same year, Avi also pursued a Certificate in Negotiation from the University of Windsor. Finally, from 2010 to 2012, Avi further enhanced their knowledge and skills in the insurance industry by earning a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
