Christina Garvey, ACIP, R.I.B.O.

Christina Garvey started their work experience in 2005 at Wendy's, where they worked as a Crew and Crew Leader until 2013. In 2012, they also served as the Secretary for the Mohawk College Insurance Club and was a member of the Insurance Advisory Board at Mohawk College McKeil School of Business. From 2013 to 2014, Christina worked as an Underwriting Assistant at Farm Mutual Reinsurance Plan. In 2014, they joined Halwell Mutual Insurance Company as a Junior Underwriter, responsible for various tasks including document review, new business application processing, and loss prevention scheduling. Christina obtained the role of Technical Service Representative at StoneRidge Insurance Brokers in February 2018. Christina then served as a Personal Line Account Manager from March 2019 to July 2021. Currently, Christina is working as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at StoneRidge Insurance Brokers.

Christina Garvey has a strong educational background in the insurance field. Christina obtained their Diploma in Insurance from Mohawk College from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) from Assumption College School between 2003 and 2007.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Christina Garvey has also earned several certifications related to their field. Christina achieved the Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) designation from the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario in February 2019. Christina also attained the Advanced Certified Insurance Professional (ACIP) title from the Insurance Institute of Canada in January 2019.
